Hello and welcome to Arcadia Books website, a new extension of Arcadia Bookshop in the heart of Newmarket. The major renovations in Osborne St are complete and the shop has nicely settled into its new surroundings, the bookshelves are full, the tables are groaning with good books and we are busy with events and bookclub evenings. At Arcadia we love finding the right books for a wide range of reading tastes and of course we love discovering new authors and spreading the word about books that aren't part of the big publishing hype machine but deserve an appreciative audience. Whether its the latest in design, the comfort of good food writing or that special childrens book that will capture the imagination of a young booklover we will hunt down the book you want. Reading is to be enjoyed, it can be challenging but it shouldn't be a chore the shop is laid out to encourage browsing and the website is very user friendly.
